Following some recent developments and the strengthening of Biogrow’s market position in China, the company is delighted to introduce their new Technical Advisor for the Chinese market Mr. Yang Kun.<\/p>\n
Tell us a little about your background?<\/strong> Why did you decide to work in agriculture?<\/strong>
\n“I studied Horticulture at the Northwest A&F University in Xianyang. Once graduated, I got the opportunity to undertake further agricultural training in the United States and the Netherlands. The time I spent in the US and in the Netherlands was very rich. It was a real learning curve that also proved a great springboard for my career once I returned to China. For the last eight years, I’ve been specializing in the greenhouse production of tomatoes and peppers. Later, I was involved in the translation and publication of a book by the world-renowned Wageningen University. It was such a pleasure to be a part of this translation team”, introduces Yang Kun.<\/p>\n
\nYang Kun continues: “first of all, my studies took me in the direction of horticulture and agriculture. Secondly, I have always been interested in agricultural innovation and development. And lastly, working with plants gives me a great sense of achievement, from the planting of the seeds to the first appearance of the flowers and finishing with the arrival of the fruit. China is an agricultural country, but there are few young people that are willing to devote themselves to this sector, so it is a great chance for those of us wanting to modernize and improve Chinese agricultural practices.”<\/p>\n
